About the team
The Content Development organization is enabling Storytel to be best-in-class when it comes to bringing exciting stories to life. We're located in 15 countries, speak over 20 languages, and produce thousands of stories per year - a truly global and productive team. We’re on top of the latest audio developments and eager to develop and learn.
About the role
As a Publishing System Specialist in our Content Development team, you’re responsible for our content management system Biblio. This software is the heart of the team's daily operations, gathering content administration, contracts, metadata, and royalty payouts, just to mention some. In addition to Bibilo, there are several other systems that you’ll be touchbasing with regularly to enable a smooth cross-functional collaboration.
You’re the glue in Storytels' creative environment and will provide training in the system for your colleagues when needed. Not only do you not mind doing some data entry and analysis, but you also have the know-how about the system overall. You’ll be the one overseeing ways of working, leading process improvements and system modifications, and managing the relationship with the vendor.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Be the support function and main point of contact for publishing system users and manage user accounts, credentials, permissions and access rights.
Own the relationship with the publishing system provider; gather information about new releases and feature updates.
Be the technical go-to person for system-related questions and ensure system configuration, UAT testing and related documentation.
Drive process improvements and make sure that user guidelines, work instructions and processes are updated in a good way.
Be responsible for collaborating and communicating with the internal IT team and other system and process owners within the organization, e.g. about system integrations.
Support in efforts to drive publishing system standardization across the Storytel group.
About you
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have:
A completed higher education, preferably with elements of operations and/or process development, or equivalent work-life experience.
At least a couple of years of relevant work experience. If you have experience working in the publishing world, that will be considered a plus.
Knowledge of Biblio or similar digital workflow/asset management software.
Professional language skills in English.
A team-oriented mindset and thrive in an organization where you work together with others.
Join a world of stories
At Storytel, we’re a team of creative story lovers who thrive on collaboration and new ideas. Our workplace is friendly, dynamic, and full of opportunities to experiment and make an impact. We believe in trust, flat hierarchies, and empowering you to grow with us.
Does this sound like your next story? Simply fill out the application form and share your CV or LinkedIn profile – no cover letter is needed. Answer a few questions, and you’re all set.
