About the role

This is a full-time position based at Storytel's headquarters at Riddarholmen in Stockholm. You’ll be a part of a team of four people and work closely with your colleagues in the broader Finance team.

As a Financial Assistant, you’ll join our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Cash team, which is responsible for 15 entities in seven countries. Your days will be filled with a broad range of tasks and you’ll be a key contributor to keeping the daily operations running smoothly.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payables: Process incoming invoices accurately in Medius on a daily basis.

• Accounts Receivables: Process outgoing invoices accurately in Oracle NetSuite ERP system and process payments from customers through various channels.

• Bank Reconciliation: Post and reconcile bank statements daily.

• Support our external and internal contacts.

• Participate in month-end and year-end closes.

About you

The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and is eager to embrace new challenges in accounting. Key qualifications include:

• Relevant degree in accounting, finance, or something similar.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• Experience from working with multiple entities, shared service centers, or similar in an international environment.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle Netsuite ERP, Medius or similar systems).

• Professional language skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in Microsoft Excel will certainly be helpful in this role; we are, however, working in the Google suite.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Used to managing multiple tasks and keeping deadlines.
