We are now seeking a Graphic Designer to work with our marketing and production team in Iceland.

About the role

As Graphic Designer you will be responsible for designing visually impactful audiobook covers as well as producing high quality designs for various types of media.

As part of the marketing & publishing department you will join an exciting team that is driving the audiobook market in Iceland. You will also have access to support from the Global Design team at Storytel HQ in Stockholm. The Global Design team is responsible for the brand guidelines and you will play an important part in ensuring that all material for the Icelandic market adhere to the guidelines.

Your daily tasks involve adapting and producing materials for the Icelandic market such as title covers, social media, video, web and mobile assets, and other branding and marketing materials.

Your profile

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has proven background within digital and print, including book covers
  • Is highly creative and loves to contribute new ideas and concepts
  • Is familiar and comfortable with producing designs for a variety of media – motion, web, film and print
  • Has experience in conceptualizing and designing social media campaigns
  • Has experience working with brand guidelines
  • Has expert knowledge in Adobe CC – either Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
  • Has the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines 
  • Is detail-oriented and has the ability to multitask at a high pace
  • Is fluent in Icelandic and English, both in speech and writing
