About the team

You will be part of Storytel’s Product department and the global Curation team. We are an international team with four other curators working from different Storytel offices. Our main goal is to help Storytel customers find their next reading by providing relevant book recommendations, both editorial and algorithmic. We are all passionate about books and publishing, but also have analytical minds and aspire to dig into data.

About the role

As the only representative in content curation at our Amsterdam office, you will own the curation of the Dutch store (and support a few others) and work closely with publishers. You will analyze data and run A/B tests to confirm your assumptions and improve user experience, and work closely with tech and product teams on improving the curation platform. You will report to the Curation manager who is located in Stockholm. We are looking for a person primarily in the Netherlands; but working from the Stockholm office where the main part of the curation team is located is also an option.

What you will do

• Plan, create and update curated lists, pages, and promotions in Storytel apps

• Work and communicate with publishers on learning about their catalogs, support them with curation questions and requests

• Monitor and analyze curation and consumption data and trends, run A/B-tests and user interviews related to curation

• Work with product and tech teams on developing the curation admin

• Collaborate with colleagues across Storytel, like machine learning-, growth- and CLM teams

• Support the Storytel publishing team with promotions of their titles in the app

About you

We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Content Curator with a profound knowledge of trends and the publishing landscape both in the Netherlands and globally. To succeed in this role, we believe that you have the following profile:

• Experience in curating and managing content on digital platforms

• Knowledge of the publishing landscape and trends in the Dutch/Flemish market as well as globally

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Dutch and English

• Experience and confidence in working with data and making data-driven decisions

• You are a curious mind who is eager to learn and get into details
