Storytel is Northern Europe's largest audiobook streaming service and we are now looking for a committed IT support technician who can help our employees in their daily work.

 About the role

At Storytel’s headquarter, located at Riddarholmen in the center of Stockholm, we are more than 160 employees working together within various departments spanning from core business functions to support business functions. As an IT technician your main responsibility would be to support your colleagues in their everyday work with all things relating to IT.  

You would be responsible for the whole employee life cycle, from on-boarding new employees, ordering and installing their IT equipment, helping out with questions and clearing road blocks to taking care of the off-boarding procedures and recycling IT waste. An important part of your role would be to ensure that we work smart in everything we do. That could for example include how we run virtual meetings or what conference system we use to ensure that we are cost efficient in the IT equipment that we purchase.

The role also includes working together with our Global System Administrator and Internal Control Officer to administer our G Suite environment and make sure that we maintain a high standard of IT security and that routines and procedures are being followed and updated.

We are looking for someone who

  • Is solution-oriented and positive and has a calm personality

Relevant experience and competence

  • 2-3 years of proven experience as an IT support technician (1st and 2nd level) or other technical support roles
  • Experience in supporting both Mac OS and Windows based systems
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and experience administering user accounts, group policy, security, and permissions
  • Experience using UNIX command-line tools or basic shell-scripting is a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience from working with G Suite is a plus but not a requirement
  • Is fluent in Swedish  and English
