As we continue to grow, we are now looking to strengthen our global Marketing team with a Global Media Lead with experience from offline media and the whole media mix.
About the role
The Global Marketing & Growth Team at Storytel is a passionate and diverse group of people. We are now seeking a strategic and analytical person with holistic media expertise and experience working in a global environment to join the team.
Media investment is a critical growth driver for Storytel. Maximising return on this marketing investment for business growth is therefore a key priority. This involves leveraging all media channels and driving our presence across all media in the most creative and cost-effective manner. The Global Media Lead is part of the development and execution of the global media strategy and responsible for top class deployment in the local markets, delivering maximum ROMI, breakthrough innovation and functional excellence. The role includes involvement in the overall management of the media value chain, with specific responsibility for the media agency.
Responsibilities
Engagement planning - Lead development and execution of channel ideas, furthering brand engagement and conversations with consumers. Support development of brand engagement ideas, specially provide and use local country consumer/media insights.
Local deployment - Work with local markets and identify trends, gaps, and proactively drive improvement of Storytel’s media mix.
Agency management - Lead and leverage both internal and external partners, in developing media/channel strategies towards driving brand, category and business growth.
Measurement - Drive measurement of the effectiveness of media investment. Optimise the brand communication/engagement/conversation based on insights from data, analytics and communication platforms.
KPI setting linked to business - Responsible for development and delivery of identified country KPIs supporting the overall business/marketing plan.
Build Brand Love - Drive user acquisition and build a known and loved brand together with our creative team and the local markets.
Your profile
● 7+ years of work experience from strategic roles on the client side or media agency
● A proven track record of developing media strategies that drive results and growth, and an understanding of how offline media impacts online behaviour
● You’re experienced in analysing and measuring the impact of offline channels and optimising performance.
● Experience in subscription services is a plus
● Experience from working in an international setting, with global accounts
● Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
