As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our Global HR & Operations team in Stockholm with an experienced Compensation and benefits specialist.


About the role

As Storytels compensation and benefits specialist you will take full responsibility for designing, developing and implementing Storytels global compensation & benefits strategy based on Storytels long term business goals.

Storytel is an international company with colleagues in more than 20 countries and your role will be extremely important in making sure that we work proactively and develop reward programs that improve performance, engagement and satisfaction for everyone who works at Storytel. We are a company in high growth and we are constantly aiming to attract, develop and retain the most talented people. This role will be instrumental in making that happen.

As our Compensation & benefits specialist you will work closely with colleagues in Talent acquisition, HR and Operations as well as internal stakeholders across the world. You will report to the Head of HR & Operations. 

This role will be a mix of strategy and hands on work. You will be fully responsible for developing our incentive programs, bonus schemes with the support and collaboration from your colleagues within the team and from other departments.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop Storytels compensations & benefit programs based on long term business goals and strategy
  • Take full responsibility for Storytels short and long term incentive programs
  • Lead and develop our annual salary review process and salary mapping
  • Prepare and present reports to relevant stakeholders across the organisation, e.g. management team and Board of Directors
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation 
  • Analyze trends, conduct salary research and define benchmarks.
  • Having an innovative mindset in the way you think about rewards and perks


Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience from similar roles where you have researched, led and implemented processes, strategies and structure for compensation and benefits
  • Experience from working in a global company, with international benefits programs in multiple markets
  • Strong analytics skills and experience from large quantitative data collection
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
