Financial System Manager

About the Team

In your role as Financial System Manager at Storytel, you will be part of our amazing Accounting department consisting of 12 colleagues who love what we do. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Accounting department on a day to day basis but also work with other internal stakeholders and external consultants when needed. 

About the Role

As Financial System Manager you will be a vital part of our Finance department making sure that our financial systems are utilized in the best way and both here and now, as well as in the future. You will be the system owner of our ERP-system NetSuite and your responsibilities will include process documentation, system administration and you will act as project lead for a variety of projects in areas spanning from efficiency and automation to internal control. You will create requirement specifications, report system issues to the system supplier and act as first line support for the Accounting department when it comes to Netsuite. 

About You

To be successful in this role we believe that you have 

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• A good understanding of financial processes
• Experience from working with projects within the financial area and previous experience as a system owner
• English skills on a professional level, both written and spoken

We believe that you are eager to learn new things and easily adapt to changes since Storytel is a fast paced company. As a person, you are process-driven and problem solving oriented. To succeed in the role you should be a communicative team player who always strives for excellence. 

And for some bonus points:

• Past experience working with Netsuite
• Experience of working with SQL
